Join us on an expedition where you will participate in one of the Mayan rituals that have been sacred for years and are still practiced today. Learn about the life of a small Mayan community, their way of life and the traditions they keep alive. In the Mayan night, you will participate in a purification ceremony where the entire environment is prepared to enter the “womb of mother earth” the TEMAZCAL, a volcanic stone steam bath ideal for cleansing and renewing the mind and body. Enjoy a refreshing bath in the crystalline waters of the community’s cenote, and treat yourself to a gastronomic experience with a simple but delicious typical dish accompanied by agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water).
The duration of the temazcal sessions is from 1 to 2 hours, to enjoy it we recommend:
Wear comfortable clothing or a bathing suit.
It helps to be hydrated.
It is not recommended for people susceptible to claustrophobia or skepticism.
It is not allowed for people who have heart disease or diabetes.
The price includes: Transportation, English-speaking guide, Mayan ceremony, temazcal, bath in the cenote, simple dinner.
